A shaving kit without the padding
The kit exists for one reason: the razor ships without blades. Buying them together means you can shave the morning it arrives.
What is in it
The adjustable double-edge razor, 81 grams, brass handle, and a pack of ten blades. That is the whole list, and it is enough for about two months of daily shaving.
No brush, no bowl, no soap. If you want them later they are easy to find, and buying them from us would only mean paying our margin on somebody else's product.
Why not a bigger kit
Because the parts of a shave that matter are the razor and the blade. Water and a decent cream do most of the rest, and you almost certainly own a cream already.
A kit that arrives with five items you did not choose is a kit priced for the box it comes in.
What it costs to run
After the kit, about five cents a shave. Ten blades cover two months, and the razor is not part of the running cost because you keep it. That is the whole economics of shaving this way.
If you already have a razor
Take the razor on its own. The dial is what makes this one worth having, and you can add blades whenever you run out.

What is the difference between the kit and the razor?
The kit is the same razor with a pack of ten blades. The razor on its own ships without blades, so you would need to find them elsewhere before your first shave.
How long do ten blades last?
About two months of daily shaving. A blade does five to seven shaves before it starts to tug.
Do I need a brush and soap as well?
No. Use whatever cream you already have. A brush helps by putting more water on your face for longer, but it changes far less than your angle does.
Is it a good first kit?
It is built for one. Start the dial at one, shave for a week, then move to two. Nothing else in the box needs a decision.
